Computational Methods for Ecological Sustainability

The USGS will provide a portal to natural resource management issues related to climate variability and change to foster collaboration with the Cornell University led National Science Foundation program, “Computational Sustainability: Computational Methods for a Sustainable Environment, Economy, and Society.” The objective will be to identify specific management questions appropriate to the Cornell effort, and to leverage their efforts to cultivate technologies that help resource managers effectively respond to climate change.
