National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center

The National Climate Change and Wildlife Science Center (NCCWSC) will focus on the creation and use of high resolution climate information for forecasting ecological and wildlife population responses to climate change. In concert with other team researchers, NCCWSC collaborators will couple biologically relevant parameters with state-of-the-art climate information, data, and projections to address appropriate resource management questions in the field. Memebrs of the team will work closely with the regional NCCWSC hub, anticipated to be located in the northern part of the USGS’s central Region.
